preparation for the new rnpcs

Hmmm.. just in case you guys are hoping to get these RNPCs in V2.6.3 which is scheduled (tentative) to launch on 12 June, the 2 new RNPCs for V2.6.3 are Vincente Rio and Baihu, which we just finished the voiceovers for last week. The rest are in later versions.

And a fellow player, Mikau, said this:

All 3 of them basically involve talking to them, fighting them, giving them 50 MP/20 EB, and getting their card.

Getting Vincente Rio requires 20 Enhancement Boosters, which right now is around 10mil each. =) That’s 200mil there. Baihu requires 50 Mystery Powder, with each going for 5mil right now. So that’s 250mil right there. =P Talk about expensive.

Though we won’t be getting Clare for a long, long, long while, here’s a sneak preview of her quest.

To explain the quest so far:
1) Talk to Claire with Claude as Leader.
2) Go back to barracks and drop Claude from group and talk to her again.
3) She’ll tell you to go talk to Jose, and get an item for her.
4) Jose will say something along the lines of I’m hungry do you have anything fresh.
5) I forget what item it is so I just went to all the food merchants and bought food items. (Tofu, Milk, Ferruico Bread) From all the food merchants I could remember. Lisa, the girl in Combira from Graceilo quest, the girl near Romiero outside Queens gate, and the girl at the Statue at Ferrico (sp?) junction.
6) He’ll thank you for it. Then charge you 5000 (or was it 50,000 vis) and give you the item Claire asked you to get from him. (sorry I was rushing should have wrote it down)
7) When you go back to Claire she’ll ask you for another item.
8) She wants an Elemental Jewel (10,000,000 vis from merchant)
9) Give her the Jewel and she’ll send you off to get 3 more items from people in Combira, Rebo, and Auch.
10) Talk to Rebo soldier near the entrance to the Pioneering office (if member is correct he’s the same one for Graceilo quest) He’ll give you an item.
11) Talk to Emilia in Combira, she’ll give you an item.
12) Talk to Vincente Rio in Auch. He’ll give you an item.
13) Go back to Claire and talk to her.
14) She’ll send you out once again to get two rare ore from “Tributary of the Bona Vista” the 65-67 zone with all the birds next to Rion Pairre.

That’s as far as I’ve gotten after 3 days of doing NOTHING but the quest…..

Um.. well so far, the quest may be long and tedious and somewhat costly (Elemental Jewel…), as least it isn’t in the league of Catherine, or Viki, or goodness forbid Grandice. =X
